A 22-year-old man from Attard was grievously injured on Monday afternoon after he lost control of his motorbike in Paola.

The accident took place in Vjal Sir Paul Boffa, at around 1.30pm, the police said.

The man was driving a Keeway Cityblade when he lost control and fell.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
