The MFA Protests Board has turned down the protests filed by Floriana and Gzira United against the result of last Saturday's BOV Premier League match which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Floriana contended that former Mosta player Dexter Xuereb was ineligible to play for the Maroons while Gzira insisted that Floriana newcomer Marcelo Dias was a non bona-fide player for their team.
The 2-2 drawn result will stand.
