A number of other employees who were in contact with the driver are already in quarantine.

The company said in the letter that although all buses are disinfected daily, the following additional procedures were taken:

The buses driven by the driver recently were identified and they were withdrawn from service until more cleaning is carried out;

The drivers who drove the same buses were removed from service and told to stay at home until further notice;

The company is fumigating the Valletta, Marsa and Floriana offices and common areas.
