A food delivery man had the shock of his life when two customers he was delivering food to brandished a knife and demanded money, the police said.

The hold-up took place at Gizimina Street, Zabbar, at 1.45am.

When he approached his two customers with the food and gave them the bill, the two man did not pay him but instead threatened him with a knife, and demanded that he give them the money he had collected in other deliveries.

The two men then made off with the cash.

The delivery man was not injured.
