In four hours, the police conducted operations on the Mellieha Bypass and two areas of the Coast Road.
On the Mellieha Bypass, 33 citations were handed out. The highest speed registered was 132 km/h, when the speed limit was 60km/h.
On the Coast Road, near Salini, 15 citations were given, and the highest registered speed was 94 km/h.
On the Coast Road near Bahar ic-Caghaq, 32 citations were given, with the highest speed registered being 143 km/h.
10 citations for other violations were also given during the operation.
