11 new Coronavirus cases were registered in the past day, while four patients have recovered, the health authorities said.
For the first time since the first case was registered on 7 March, today there was no press conference given by health superintendent Charmaine Gauci.
She will be speaking to the media only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The latest update was given via a chart published on the health authorities' Facebook pages.
The number of swab tests carried out in the last 24 hours reached 1,519, for a total of 53,196 tests.
The number of cases has now reached 569, with six deaths. The number of patients who recovered totals 460, with 103 active cases remaining.
No details about the ages of the patients who recovered were given, and neither were any details given about the new cases.
The new statistics arrive as the government yesterday announced a relaxation of more measures to kick-start the economy.
The number of active cases has nearly doubled from the lowest point it had reached just nine days ago on 10 May, when Malta had 58.
