Right when you think that the fair weather is here to stay…

Several parts of Malta have been hit by heavy rainfall this morning, with the notorious low-lying areas being flooded.

Rain has been reported in Luqa, Qormi, St Julian’s, Zebbug, Mellieha, Msida and other areas.

Few were expecting this to happen after Malta basked in the sun over the past weekend, the first since the Coronavirus measures were relaxed. But beach lovers are warning – the weather is not expected to improve much in the coming days, with rain also forecast for the weekend.
