Today, Starbucks opens its fourth store in Malta in Bugibba. Operated by the db Group, the new 223 sq. D. store is located at Dawret il-Gzejjer and has created 7 new jobs for the local area.

Bugibba is the first Maltese Starbucks to open following the unprecedented human impact of Covid-19.

As it has done since the beginning of the outbreak, Starbucks conKnues to prioriKse the health and safety of its partners (employees) and customers. Director of operaKons for Starbucks Malta, Malcolm Saliba said, "With the anniversary of our first year in Malta around the corner, we are delighted to announce the opening of our new store in Bugibba, where we look forward to sharing our passion and enthusiasm for coffee with even more local customers. We also recognize that the world looks different than it did a year ago, and accordingly, we have adapted our store format and health procedures to ensure our partners and customers are protected and safe."

To celebrate its first year of operaKon, on June 1st, all Starbucks stores will be offering a free filter coffee to every customer that buys a drink, in appreciaKon of the community in Malta for their support over the recent months.

The Bugibba store will offer, as do all Starbucks locaKons, a wide range of coffee beverages, from classic favourites like the café laNe to bold innovaKons such the latest Summer Frappuccinos - each expertly and passionately handcraDed by baristas who have been entrusted with delivering an unrivalled customer experience. Each beverage will be made with the world's highest quality Arabica coffee, all of which is verified as 99 percent ethically sourced through its Coffee and Farmer Equity (C.A.F.E.) Starbucks proudly serves a range of its classic coffees - from bold Espresso Roast to the balanced Pike Place Roast, which is brewed daily in each of Starbucks stores globally.
