Malta-based Rootz Limited, the company behind Wildz Casino, has introduced another casino brand this week. Caxino Casino is the latest iGaming product from the trailblazers at Rootz. Caxino's launch this week, coming less than a year after going live with Wildz, is quite remarkable considering the circumstances. Rootz performed most of the development with teams completely isolated from each other due to COVID-19 restrictions.
This company has already experienced a meteoric rise in the past year with the amazing success they've had with Wildz Casino and now they seek to increase their iGaming footprint with a second brand to be powered by Rootz's own platform.
CEO Lasse Rantala explains that the task was made easier with the work that had been done on Wildz. "Wildz exceeded even our most hopeful expectations and the time feels right to take on a bigger challenge with a second brand. Because we built our own platform from the beginning while emphasising scalability, it was certainly a much easier task coming off building Wildz from scratch. We've spent a great deal of time focusing on the customer UX and we didn't reinvent the wheel in terms of massive structural changes. Caxino Casino instead focuses innovation in the way customer rewards are delivered, presents a perhaps more light and fun theme, and Caxino will focus on more casual casino players with minimal thresholds for first-time depositors and a modified rewards system that will appeal to a broader audience."
Caxino Casino also builds on the automation and machine learning employed at the sister brand. They view Caxino as the evolution of what they've termed the "next-generation casino", an online casino that can be personalised to the individual player by both anticipating and responding to user actions. And this smart casino doesn't just lend itself to more tailored rewards. Machine learning at Rootz has become an integral part of an alert system for potential responsible gaming issues, AML abuse, or suspicious account activity.
COO Tony Kjäldström added, "In terms of using he machine learning to help with responsible gaming and potential fraud issues, it is a complement to the folks that work day-to-day. At the end of the day humans need to make the final analysis and decisions, especially regarding something as sensitive as RG, for example.
