Influenza vaccinations arrive

As Malta battles with Coronavirus and awaits vaccination to be made available, plans are in hand to immunize as many people against influenza as possible this autumn.

Economy Minister Silvio Schembri said that the influenza vaccinations have started to arrive on Air Malta flights.

In a post on Facebook, the minister said 5.6 tonnes of vaccinations were transported to Malta.

Last week, Health Minister Chris Fearne said that vaccinations will be available for free from 11 October.
