Another record day as 122 cases of Covid-19 found overnight

The record for the highest number of cases of Covid-19 has been broken for the third day in a row after 122 cases of the virus were found overnight.

36 people also recovered from the virus.  This means that the number of active cases stands at 1,095.

A total of 2,882 swab tests were carried out in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of swab tests up to 292,476.

Details about the cases are being given by Health Superintendent Charmaine Gauci in her weekly briefing.

It takes the total number of cases up to 4,282.  3,142 have recovered while 45 have died.
