Tempers flared on Wednesday afternoon as the driver of a car and two men pretty much came to blows.

In a video shot in San Gwann, a man is seen throwing kicks and punches through the open driver’s window of a silver Peugeot.

The man throwing the blows at the driver is soon pulled back by another man, who seems to get into a short animated conversation with the driver.  He too resorts to a more physical means of getting his message across, kicking the driver’s door at least twice.

The driver meanwhile completes his manoeuver, but nudges three stacked boxes belonging to a vegetable truck parked by the side of the road.

This did not seem to sit well with the second man, who grabbed the top box from the pile – vegetables included - and began hitting the car with it.

The car successfully converges with the traffic in the opposite lane and drives off, while the two men are seen returning to the vegetable truck as the video ends.
