Activists have gathered outside the law courts building as they await the arrival of former Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

Muscat is to testify in the Daphne Caruana Galizia public inquiry.

The activists are carrying placards with photos of the journalist who was killed in a car bomb in 2017.

Muscat is set to testify at 9.30am. The Malta Independent will be giving minute by minute updates.
