A 17-year-old boy today was charged with threatening two other persons and driving negligently without insurance cover.

The boy, whose name cannot be published, was charged in the Gozo court before Magistrate Bridgette Sultana.

The teenager, from Qala, was accused with the offences which he allegedly committed on the night between 2 and 3 January.

He pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody.

The prosecution was led by Inspector Bernard Charles Spiteri.
