A planning application has been filed proposing the construction of 71 apartments in Nadur, Gozo.

The application will see the development take place on fields, in an area within the development zone on Triq il-Qortin having been part of the 2006 rationalisation exercise. Small parts of the development do, however jump over the development zone boundary very slightly, given that the proposal is right on the edge of the zone.

The application was filed by a firm called Titan Developments Limited.

The proposal also proposes the construction of 74 garages across two basement levels, a single communal pool and 71 apartments rising 4 storeys (excluding the ground level) at its highest point.

The PA description of the application reads the: “Proposed excavation of site to required levels, proposed construction of basement garages to accommodate 74 car spaces and 71 overlying residential apartments having a communal pool with landscaping.”

The application, which was filed recently, is currently going through the PA’s initial vetting/plotting stage.
