A man was injured after a fall in a construction site in Gozo, police said on Saturday.

In a short statement, the police said that at around 10:30 in the morning on Saturday, police were informed that a man had been taken to hospital after an incident at a construction site in Trejqet l-Ghaxra ta’ Awissu, in San Lawrenz, Gozo.

District police went on site and found that the man – a 60-year-old Tunisian – had fallen around a storey while he was working.

The man was later certified as having suffered from some injuries – the gravity of the injuries was not detailed in the statement.
