A man was grievously injured during an argument in Ta' Xbiex, the police said.

At 3am, a man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital after being involved in an argument in a bar in Ta Xbiex. Preliminary investigations found that at 1am, an argument broke out involving a number of people and a 32-year-old man from the Philippines, who resides in Marsa. #The man suffered injuries allegedly caused by a pointed weapon.

Investigations are ongoing.
