Two men are in hospital after a fight in Sliema, the police said.

The incident took place in Old College Street at 11.30am.

The fight involved a 46-year-old man of Hamrun and a 23-year-old man of Iklin.

The police said the fight started in the street and continued in a residence. A glass bottle was used, the police said.

The 23-year-old was taken to the Floriana health centre for treatment, while the other man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
