Sixty-two tickets were handed out to drivers due to excessive noise from their cars in 2020, Home Affairs Minister said.

He was answering a Parliamentary Question by PN MP Ryan Callus.

The 2020 figure is the lowest in 8 years; less than one third of the number handed out in 2015.

The amount of ticket handed out are as follows: In 2013, 120 tickets were given; In 2014, 187 tickets were given; In 2015, 214 tickets were given; In 2016, 115 tickets; In 2017, 100 tickets were given; In 2018, 66 tickets were given; In 2019, 64 tickets were given; and in 2020, 62 tickets were given.
