141 new cases of Covid-19 were registered on Tuesday, as one more victim passed away.

The latest victim was a 92-year-old woman, who died while Covid-19 positive at the Good Samaritan Long Term Care Facility. The total number of deaths has thus risen to 270.

On Tuesday, 132 people recovered from the Virus, meaning that the number of active cases rose to 2,665.

In total, since the start of the pandemic, there have been 18,168 Covid-19 cases in Malta, and 15,233 people have recovered.

By Monday, 29,002 vaccine doses had been administered in total, 4,476 of these were second doses.
