Patients who need to travel abroad for medical care will, from tomorrow, start having the Covid-19 vaccine administered to them before they leave, Deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne has said.

This process will be organised by Mater Dei Hospital and the patients will be contacted by the hospital.

The first Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Malta last December, and the health authorities have since been administering it to sections of the population.
