A 75-year-old woman from Attard was grievously injured after being hit by a car, the police said.

The incident occurred on Triq il-Pitkali, Attard at 10am.

The woman was hit by a Citroen C3 which was being driven by a 73-year-old Attard resident. The 75-year-old was take to Mater Dei Hospital. Investigations are ongoing.
