Four people were arrested during drug raids, the police said.

The first was a 48-year-old woman. The police searched her home and found what they believe to be 50 packets of cocaine. The second was a 49-year-old woman from Msida. A package was delivered to her home and suspected cannabis was found inside. A search of her home revealed more drugs.

The third and fourth were a 21-year-old man from Hamrun and a 19-year-old woman from Zabbar. They were found to be in possession of what the police believe to be cannabis. They were arrested in a St Julian's hotel.

Investigations are ongoing.
