345 new cases of Covid-19 were found on Saturday, and one patient has died, the health authorities said.

The number of active cases now stands at 3,403.

The total number of cases so far is 24,216.

The patient who died was an 88-year-old female. She passed away at Mater Dei Hospital.

329 people have died so far.

There were 193 new recoveries, for a total of 20,484.

3,832 tests were performed over the past 24-hour period, for a total of 721,113 so far.

Until Friday, 92,806 doses of the vaccine had been administered, of which 31,710 were second doses.
