Vince Muscat's testimony in court continues to show the ties between organised crime and the Labour Government, PN MP Karol Aquilina said in a statement.

"For the second time in a week, testimony in court has shown Prime Minister Robert Abela's lied when he had said that there are no present or past politicians implicated in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia."

"In today's testimony, Vince Muscat said under oath that former PL Deputy Leader Chris Cardona was involved in a 2015 plan to kill Caruana Galizia, that Cardona was involved in another crime, and that a third person serving as a current minister helped organised crime."

"The Prime Minister has no other option other than to identify, publicly, who the minister Vince Muscat referenced is, and fire that minister."

The Prime Minister is also obliged to ensure that the institutions are free from any political interference, he said. so that any action can be taken against Cardona and the minister.
