Civil Protection Officers yesterday rescued a dog after it fell off a cliff in Wied Babu.

After presumably walking in the area with the owners, the dog found itself in difficulty after falling off the cliff side in Wied Babu in Zurrieq.

Immediately the civil protection officers from the Hal Far fire station were present at the scene in order to help rescue the dog.

The dog was then taken to the animal hospital in Ta’ Qali for further treatment by Animal Welfare personnel.
