The meeting of the Labour Party parliamentary group on Saturday shows that the government is in a crisis, the Nationalist Party said.

Prime Minister Robert Abela is seeking to save himself and is not interested in the national wellbeing, so much so that he announced that the country will remain without a deputy Prime Minister.

Abela is interested in hiding the fact that for the first time in history the “government is accused of fraud, money laundering, corruption, misappropriation and other serious crimes,” the PN said.

A former PM, a former deputy PM, an ex-minister, the Central Bank governor, a permanent secretary, a former permanent secretary, a former chief of staff at the OPM and others will be accused of serious crimes.

But Robert Abela thinks only of himself, the PN said.
