Education Minister Justyne Caruana went back to work on Wednesday after her brief hospitalisation.

Caruana was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital for unspecified reasons on Tuesday. The Education Ministry did not provide any details but said the minister was in “stable” condition and was being kept under observation.

Caruana posted a photo of her sitting at her desk, with the caption “back in office” on Wednesday afternoon. She also thanked people for their support.

Sections of the media were criticised on Wednesday for reporting private details about the possible reason behind the minister’s stint in hospital.
