An Eritrean man is expected to be arraigned on drugs charges later today after he was found to be in possession of 60 sachets of cannabis.

The man, 30, who lives in Msida, was arrested by Drug Squad members in the same locality. He was found to be carrying drugs that were ready to be trafficked, the police said.

A search inside his residence yielded more cannabis as well as a considerable amount of cash.

He is expected to be arraigned before Magistrate Caroline Farrugia Frendo.
