A biker was injured on Saturday afternoon following an accident involving another car, the police said.

The accident took place in Birzebbuga Road at 5pm.

The biker, aged 38 of Qormim was riding a Yamaha GDP125 which was involved in a collision with a Fiat Punto driven by an 82-year-old man of Ta’ Xbiex.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
