34 new Covid-19 cases were registered on Easter Sunday, as 117 patients recovered from the virus.

The number of active cases has continued to drop, now standing at 549.

In their daily update, the health authorities announced that one more person has passed away while positive for Covid-19. The latest victim is a 72-year-old man, who passed away at Mater Dei Hospital. The total number of deaths has thus risen to 398.

The total number of vaccine doses administered so far stands at 212,466, 58,004 of which were second doses.

In total, 817,914 swab tests have been carried out.

The total number of Covid cases seen in the country since the start of the pandemic now stands at 29,223, of which 28,276 have recovered.
