A man was arrested by the police on Wednesday after he was caught in possession of synthetic drugs.
The police said the arrest of the 19-year-old Egyptian was made in Herbert Ganado Garden in Floriana at 12.45am.
Officers on patrol noted a few men who were loitering in a dark part of the garden and approached them, conducting a search.
The teenager was found to be in possession of 12 sachets of the drug.
He is to be charged with the offence in court.
