Liam Cash has joined Malta's Smooth Radio to present the early breakfast show, weekdays from 6am to 8am.

He will provide the ultimate wake-up call and his all-new show will also be available across Malta and Gozo on DAB+ digital radio and online at Smooth.com.mt.

Liam joins the Smooth line-up from Island FM in Guernsey and Channel 103 in Jersey.

He said: 'I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Smooth family and truly honoured to help wake up Malta and Gozo every weekday morning.

'I'm no stranger to the early starts, so I can't wait to keep listeners company as they get ready for their day, set off to work or make their morning cuppa!

'I know Malta incredibly well and this was a fantastic opportunity not to be missed.

'Working on a station which plays such a brilliant mix of relaxing music is the icing on the cake for me.'

Meanwhile, the Smooth Stressbusters, featuring two hours of relaxing music to help Smooth listeners unwind at the end of the day, will now run seven days a week from 7pm.
