Covid-19: 15 new cases, as number of patients drops to below 300; two deaths registered

Fifteen new Covid-19 cases were recorded Saturday, as the number of active cases dropped to below 300, health authorities said.

The number of deaths has however increased by two, to 415, after five days with no victims.

Two men, aged 70 and 91, died at Mater Dei Hospital.

Figures released Saturday show that the number of cases registered in Malta so far has reached 30,307, with 29,622 people who have recovered.

the number of active cases is now 270, after 74 patients recovered in the last 24 hours.

There were 1,781 swab tests carried out, for a total of 869,063.

Until Friday, 335,848 doses of vaccination had been given, of which 107,038 were second doses.
