A driver was injured early this morning after he lost control of the car he was driving and crashed into two parked vehicles, the police said.

The driver, a 21-year-old man from Birkirkara, lost control of the Mazda Demion he was driving and crashed into a Suzuki Swift and Toyota Vitz which were parked on the side of the road.

The accident took place in Carmel Street, Birkirkara, at 1.15am.

The man was taken to the Mosta health centre to be treated for grievous injuries.
