A teenage passenger was grievously injured after the car he was in crashed into a wall and a parked vehicle in Zejtun on Tuesday evening.
The accident took place in St Gregory Street at 8.15pm, the police said.
The passenger, a 17-year-old boy from Zejtun, was in a BMW that was being driven by a 24-year-old man of Cospicua.
The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a private property and a Toyota that was parked on the side of the road.
The passenger was trapped in the BMW until he was released by members of the Civil Protection Department before being taken to mater Dei Hospital.
