Active cases down to 100 as two new Covid-19 cases found

The number of active cases of Covid-19 has decreased to exactly 100, after two new cases were reported by authorities on Thursday.

22 people have recovered from the virus, while for yet another day, no new deaths were reported.

It means that the number of active cases stands at exactly 100.

2,234 swab tests were done on Wednesday, taking the total number of swab tests up to 904,600 so far.

Meanwhile, 445,830 doses of the vaccine were administered up till Wednesday, meaning that a whopping 8,176 doses of the vaccine were administered in a single day.

293,178 of those doses were first doses, while 158,489 people are now fully vaccinated.

Malta has had 30,491 cases of the virus so far. 29,974 of those have recovered, while 417 have died.
