Seven new Covid-19 cases were registered today, while six patients have recovered, health authorities said.

The number of active cases is now 69.

There was also one death reported, a 60-year-old man, who takes the total number of victoms to 419.

In all, 30,516 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Malta, with 30,028 patients who have recovered.

There were 2,080 swab tests taken yesterday, for a total of 916,419.

Until yesterday, Malta was edging closer to 500,000 vacinnations - the health authorities said 490,524 doses have been given, of which 310,403 were first doses while 189,055 persons are fully vaccinated.
