A man was taken to hospital after suffering injuries while working with a grinder, the police said.

The accident took place at 9.15pm on Thursday in a boathouse in Armier, limits of Mellieha.

The 65-year-old, who is resident in Marsa, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
