A man was grievously injured after he fell through a glass roof in Ta’ Qali on Tuesday morning.

The accident took place in the limits of Ta’ Qali at around 7:15am, the police said.

The man, 37, from Zurrieq, was carrying out some works on the glass roof when it broke, with the victim falling from a considerable height.

He was given first aid on site by a medical team and was later transferred to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The police are investigating.
