Photos uploaded on Facebook by Transport Minister Ian Borg show the way the Ta’ Liesse area in Valletta has been transformed in the past six weeks.

The area will be used as the terminal for the Gozo fast ferry services, which start as from today, with two companies offering 45-minute trips to passengers.

The first photo (above) shows the area as it looked like six weeks ago, before it was transformed into the terminal (photo below), Borg wrote.

The photo at the bottom shows the inside of the terminal in Valletta.
