A motorcyclist was seriously injured when he lost control of the bike he was riding and crashed, the police said.

The accident happened on Saturday at 5.35pm in Triq il-Mini ta’ Hal Kirkop, Kirkop.

The 57-year-old biker, from Tarxien, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Magistrate Rachel Montebello is leading an inquiry.
