A €250,000 Super 5 jackpot won last April has remained unclaimed, and its winner has until Monday 28 June to identify himself and take his or her prize.

In a statement, Maltco Lotteries said that the winner of the Super 5 jackpot won on 28 April is yet to come forward, as the prize - €250,000 – is still yet to be claimed.

Maltco said that the winning ticket valid for draw 870 was purchased from POS 381 situated in Triq il-Gilju, Bugibba, at 18:27hrs.

The player who has matched five out of the five drawn numbers and has yet to be identified, purchased the winning ticket with a few minutes before the sales transactions closed at 18:45.

The five drawn numbers 15 – 22 – 17 – 7 – 27 were chosen verbally by the player and not played through the quick pick feature.

The ticket holder is being urged to come forward to Maltco Lotteries’ Head Office in Iklin with the original ticket by not later than Monday the 28th of June.

Should the prize remain unclaimed after 60 consecutive days from the draw date, the winning amount will be transferred by Maltco Lotteries to the Good Causes Fund.

In 2020, Maltco Lotteries donated €573,920 from unclaimed prizes. The fund is intended to support individuals, agencies or organisations that have a social, cultural, educational, sport, philanthropic or religious activity in the Maltese society.
