Asylum-seekers and third country nationals eligible to receive Covid-19 vaccine

Thursday, 1 July 2021, 12:57 Last update: about 4 years ago

As from Thursday 1 July, all asylum-seekers and third country nationals will be eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine, the government said.

From Thursday, all those who fall under the above category are eligible to receive the vaccine from the University of Malta vaccination centre.

There is no need for any registration but people who go to get vaccinated have to be in possession of an identity document, police card or any other form of identification.

The normal procedure would then apply for the vaccination certificate.
