A motorcyclist was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Burmarrad on Saturday evening.

The biker, a German man aged 37 and residing in Mellieha, was involved in a crash with a Renault Clio, driven by a 55-year-old man of Mosta.

The biker was taken to hospital for treatment.

The accident happened in St Paul's Bay Road at 7.30pm.
