Two public service workers were injured on Sunday morning while doing their duties as part of the clean-up campaign run by the government.
The two Ambjent Malta employees were caught between their vehicle and another which was being driven in Qawra, the goverment said in a statement.
The two were painting pedestrian railings in the area as part of a maintenance programme in Qawra, St Paul’s Bay and Bugibba.
The two workers were taken the hospital.
The government did not give the ages and place of residence of the workers involved.
