The AMP Lost & Found festival has been postponed for another year as organisers blame uncertainty on travel international and an unclear past to hosting mass events for the decision.

The festival, which takes place at Café del Mar in St. Paul’s Bay, was set to take place in September, but will now take place between 1 and 4 June 2022.

“We’re truly heartbroken to not be welcoming you all to Malta this year”, the organisers said.

“At this moment in time, there is still some uncertainty around international travel and the path to hosting mass events in Malta is still currently unclear. In light of all this, we, unfortunately, have to announce the postponement of AMP Lost & Found Festival 2021”, they added.

The new festival dates will be 1st-4th June 2022, taking place over an extended bank holiday weekend.

The organisers said that all ticket holders have had their booking automatically transferred to the new 2022 dates but can opt for a refund if they are unable to attend.

Mass events can be held, but they must be sated and are limited to a maximum capacity of 100 people – which is meant to increase to 150 in the coming days.

Meanwhile, quarantine-free travel is restricted to people with EU, UK, Swiss, Dubai, or Turkish vaccine certificates.
