Tens of people gathered in Valletta this morning to protest against vaccination and other measures implemented to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The protestors, many of whom did not wear masks, walked from Castille Square to the Parliament building, carrying placards against vaccination which, they say, is infringing on their civil liberties.

Malta has the highest per capita rate of vaccination against Covid-19. Taking the jab is not compulsory.
