Tuesday, 27 July 2021, 07:56 Last update: about 4 years ago

Temperatures are set to soar again later this week, reaching a feel like of 41 degrees Celsius, according to a forecast by the Met Office.

Malta has already experienced a lengthy heat wave in the last 10 days of June and, after a "normal" three weeks, is bracing itself for yet another period of higher than average temperatures.

Today, Tuesday, the highest temperature expected is 33 degrees (feel like 36), but it is expected to gradually go up to reach highs of 38 and 39 over the weekend (feel like 40 and 41).

The table below shows how there should be negligible winds mostly from the west.

It should be hot and sunny every day this week, so drink lots of water and stay in the shade as much as possible.
