Covid-19: 94 new cases, 219 patients recover

Ninety-four new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Saturday, with 219 patients recovering, the health authorities said.

No deaths were recorded, for the total number of victims to remain at 423.

In all, 34,295 cases have been registered in Malta, with 31,627 patients recovering.

The authorities said 3,483 swab tests were carried out, for a total of 1,090,666.

Until Friday, 758,282 vaccination doses had been administered. Of these, 399,261 were first doses while 380,927 people are now fully vaccinated.

The authorities said that the average age of the Covid-19 cases registered on Friday was 33.

The health authorities said there are 30 patients at Mater Dei Hospital, two of whom are in intensive care.
